Downton Abbey and its World
Such a compelling and addictive series! We carry the dvds and a wide variety of books associated with the production itself and the time in which it is set. Added thoughts in April 2014: I have been thinking about the world of the English great house between the wars (it helps to be re-watching and being amazed again by Brideshead Revisited), and I decided to expand our offerings of the world beyond Downton Abbey. Here you will find not only Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited, but wonderful books by his friend Nancy Mitford, and the books by P.G. Wodehouse related to Blandings Castle and its hilariously complicated life. Oh, yes, and the perfect Jeeves and Bertie Wooster on dvd. Enjoy!
