Boxed Notecards & Stationery
To write a note or a letter in three dimensions is to send a word across time and space and place it in someone's hand, real and tangible, a living artifact of your words and feelings. We have thank you notes and sympathy notes, "just notes" and blank notes, all boxed handsomely. Card companies are fast and sometimes mysterious in changing their designs, dropping old ones, introducing new ones, so check back often.
Molly Hashimoto Boxed Note Cards: Trees
Molly Hashimoto Boxed Note Cards: Trees
Known for her block prints of birds native to the Pacific Northwest, Molly Hashimoto has created this special mini collection of works focused solely on trees. Her prints, hand-tinted with watercolor, are crisp and bright portrayals of the nature around her. Her mountainsides, foothills, and meadows bring the viewer amid the trees and into the fresh air.
Hashimoto’s most beloved places are America’s treasured parks and wilderness areas, which provide refuge for countless rare species and moments of awakening for millions of human visitors. In addition to her own artistry, Hashimoto is dedicated to connecting people to nature through hands-on art experiences. Camera and sketchbook in hand, she can be found leading aspiring artists out of doors for plein air painting or into a studio for a block-printing or watercolor workshop. She teaches for the North Cascades Institute, the Yellowstone Association Institute, and the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology.
