Val Cates and Rachel Myers, two West Perry residents and student and teacher, will be at Whistlestop Bookshop on July 13th from 1 - 3pm to sign their books, A Gift of Name and Wild, and meet readers.

Boyer, who publishes under the name Rachel Myers, has released her first work, “Wild,” which tells the story of teenage Cheyanne and her horse Lily vying for their chance to win at the Texas State Finals.
